From Hanover to Basel to Ireland
The Oppermann story begins in Hanover, in the north of Germany, and moves to Basel in Switzerland, where many generations of the family lived. From there it reaches Ireland — and today there are Oppermanns in both countries. Follow the line through the people who carried the name.
